Hey,
getting an email from a platform you barely know is a little weird. We get it...
So let's skip the corporate intro and just be honest with you.
We're Kenny, Wolfi and Mikel.
Three people based in Berlin who got tired of feeling lonely despite being "connected" on every social media platform imaginable. Kenny originally just wanted a simple way to see what his friends were up to and join them. That's it. That's where this whole thing started.
But then we realized the problem is waaaaaay bigger than Kenny's social life. 😆
Social media promised to bring us together. Instead, it sucked us all into our screens, kept us scrolling and somehow made us more isolated than before. Meanwhile, there are thousands of amazing events happening every single day. Jazz nights, gallery openings, markets, underground parties, wellness workshops, weird and wonderful things you'd never find on your own. But they're scattered across a million different websites, Instagram stories, Facebook pages (yikes) and WhatsApp groups. Finding something to do tonight shouldn't feel like a research project...
So we built Traube.
Traube is a social platform to find and host events and actually go to them with friends. You can discover cool things happening around you, follow your favorite venues and organizers, tap "join", see who else is coming and create your own events or gatherings.
We're still in beta. Which is a polite way of saying: bugs exist. Things break. Sometimes something works perfectly and sometimes it absolutely does not. We're three people building this as a passion project and side hustle, and we're fixing stuff as fast as we can. We promise we're not ignoring you, we're just also doing laundry and sleeping occasionally. 🙃
Here's what's already there:
We've got over 1,400 events on the platform right now and that number keeps growing. Here's what you can already do:
Discover events around you, from jazz nights and art openings to markets, conscious wellness stuff and weird underground Berlin things
Follow pages from venues and organizers, so you never miss what your favorite spots are up to
Easily create your own events, invite friends, manage guests, see who's coming
Host a branded page. If you're a venue or organizer, you get your own custom page with a URL like traube.club/p/yourname
Chat with other attendees before the event, right in the app
And we're adding more every week.

Tell us when something breaks. Found a bug? Something feels off? Just email us directly. We read every single one. Not a bot. Us. Real people. Sitting at a desk somewhere in Berlin going "Oh no, that shouldn't do that." → [email protected] or just reply to this email
Share it with one friend. That's all. Just one. The whole point of this thing is real-world connection, and it grows the same way: One real person at a time.
