Seeing is a turbulent process. With every eye movement, our perception shifts: attention jumps ahead, visual impressions are amplified, suppressed, and recombined. The brain's remarkable ability to make the world feel stable is one of its greatest achievements.
In the immersive planetarium dome, Martin Rolfs and Nina Hanning make these hidden dynamics of vision experiential in an entirely new dimension. They invite the audience to participate in a live experiment where current research isn't just shown—it's experienced together.
Part of Berlin Science Week 2026 and Berlin Brains, a collaborative series exploring cutting-edge neuroscience research. Conducted in German.
Free entry. Tickets available online.
