A captivating evening of improvisation and electronic exploration with two of Scandinavia's most inventive musicians. Christian Wallumrød, the influential Norwegian composer and pianist, teams up with Jan Martin Gismervik, a versatile drummer at the heart of contemporary Nordic jazz and experimental music.

Wallumrød has built an extraordinary reputation through his work with ECM Records, where his album Outstairs earned critical acclaim for its thoughtful, spacious approach to piano and synthesizer composition. His music sits at the intersection of minimalism, improvisation, and digital texture.

Gismervik brings a restless, exploratory energy to the drums, having collaborated with diverse ensembles including Oker and the Adrian Myhr Trio. His playing balances precision with spontaneity, creating dense polyrhythmic landscapes.

Together, this duo navigates the territory between acoustic and electronic sound, free-form improvisation and structured composition. Expect an intimate, immersive experience of two artists pushing each other into unexpected musical spaces. The event operates on a donation basis, making it accessible to all curious listeners.
