TOUCHING BOUNDARIES: What Drives Art and Science Collaboration

TOUCHING BOUNDARIES: What Drives Art and Science Collaboration

About the event

A panel discussion at Berlin Science Week asks what happens when artists work inside scientific laboratories. Art Laboratory Berlin brings together scientists, artists, art-science mentors and art theorists to look at where the two research cultures meet, overlap and push against each other. Speakers include Špela Petrič, Markus Maeder, Miha Turšič, Matthias Rillig, Regine Rapp and Christian de Lutz.

The conversation considers the human role in these collaborations, both inside the lab and beyond it, and how they affect policymakers and the public. Entry is free, and the event takes place in the Safi Faye Hall at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
