More than 40 pottery workshops and porcelain manufacturers from across Germany invite visitors to discover unique treasures at the pottery art market in Späth'sche Baumschulen. The market features fine ceramics, handcrafted porcelain, garden sculptures, everyday tableware, traditional stonework objects, jewelry, hand-painted tiles, and distinctive collector's pieces.
The event unfolds in a Mediterranean ambiance surrounded by palms and blooming plants. Colorful perennials are available directly from the production areas, while the dahlia exhibition showcases around 100 varieties. Live pottery demonstrations on the wheel show how ceramics are created, and soul, pop, and ambient bands provide musical accompaniment throughout the market.
The site's herb garden displays historic garden pots, miniature landscapes on lava stones, and special garden decoration ideas. Culinary offerings include Späthi's beer garden, Späth's gasthaus, and the farm shop. There is also a wine garden with vintner service. Theo Theodor performs as company founder Christoph Späth, sharing anecdotes from over 300 years of Späth'sche Baumschulen history. Admission includes 10 percent discount on all plants.
