The Home Team is a Seattle-based heavy-pop band that expertly blends modern metal, catchy pop, groovy R&B, and stadium-ready alternative rock into a distinctive sound. Founded initially as a quintette in 2013 by guitarist John Baran and drummer Daniel Matson, the band evolved into their current four-piece lineup with singer Brian Butcher and bassist Ryne Olson. Their musical journey reflects a willingness to experiment across genres while maintaining heavy, deep-tuned guitars as a core element.

The band has built an impressive resume, touring with major acts like Mayday Parade, Don Broco, The Used, State Champs, and Real Friends, while selling out their own US headline tours. Their discography includes their 2018 debut "Better Off," which featured breakthrough single "She's Quiet," followed by "Slow Bloom" in 2022 with fan favorites like "Move It or Lose It" and "Right Through Me." Their latest album "The Crucible of Life" (2024) showcases the band's resilience and creative development through standout tracks including "Brag," "Walk This World With Me," and "Loud."

In 2025, the single "Worthy" from the deluxe edition marked the band's first chart entry and has become one of their biggest tracks to date. This year, The Home Team brings their "Crucible of Life" European Tour 2026 to major European festivals including Welcome to Rockville and Slam Dunk, with stops across Germany including Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, and Cologne.
