Signal to Noise is Arkaoda's platform for experimental music and sound art, showcasing work that emerges from UDK's sound studies and sonic arts masters program alongside guest performers from Berlin's wider experimental music community.

This edition features three singular artists working at the edges of sound and form. Guro Kverndokk explores unfulfilled potential as a compositional technique, using extended vocal techniques and long melodic phrases that test the boundaries of breath and release. Kėkė Søl crafts immersive environments from synthesizers and material noise, balancing dark ambient textures with granular sound and experimental voice. Vicente Yáñez, a Chilean sound artist and musician, brings work shaped by immersive media, sound installations, and 3D environments.

This is experimental music for those who listen closely.
