Picture This is a remarkable Irish indie-pop band born from an almost mythical moment of chance. What began with a shaky iPhone video of Ryan Hennessy singing a self-written song in the small Irish town of Athy became an overnight viral sensation. That spark ignited one of the most compelling pop careers of the past decade.
When drummer Jimmy Rainsford—burnt out from touring and back at his parents' home—heard Hennessy's rare, raw talent, he made a call that would change everything. Together with Owen Cardiff and Cliff Deane, they crafted a sound that merges intimate emotion with stadium-sized power. Their music channels distinctly Irish emotional directness: raw vulnerability paired with the unfiltered courage to share pain and hope without compromise.
Picture This has evolved from that grainy iPhone moment into arena-filling artists. After over 30 European summer shows, an Australian tour, and selling 45,000 tickets for their Christmas concerts in Belfast and Dublin in under an hour, they've solidly made the leap from bedroom recordings to full live eruptions. Their shows are collective liberation acts, driven by Hennessy's crystalline voice, Rainsford's unwavering drumming, and the unfiltered energy of a band that understands their profound impact.
On October 30th at Huxleys Neue Welt, experience Picture This alongside support from DREAMBOYS THE BAND and opener MARC ATLAS. This is indie-pop at its most emotionally vital.
