Michel Francis Seander Jr., known as Mike Stud and now mike., is a rapper from Rhode Island who has maintained his creative independence as a solo artist for over a decade. His evolving sound, influenced by multiple genres, comes alive in his live performances with fan favorites like "these days," "life got crazy," "up again," and "rodman."
Supported by a dedicated fanbase, a grounded ethos, and a vast catalog spanning multiple albums, mixtapes, and singles streamed billions of times, mike. has built a distinctive world all his own. Mike's unlikely path to music began in baseball. In his hometown of Pawtucket, he was named 2006 Rhode Island High School Player of the Year and received a university scholarship. His albums "Relief" (2013, Billboard 200 #55), "Closer" (2014, #13 and #1 in Rap Charts), and subsequent releases "These Days" (2016), "4THEHOMIES" (2018), and "Uhyuready?" (2019) solidified his international presence. After rebranding to mike. in 2021 with the album "the highs," he continued with "why not us?" (2022), "the lows." (2024), and recent singles "can't plan it" and "north star."
