Join a guided bicycle tour tracing the contours of the former Berlin Wall around Reinickendorf, exploring a landscape still shaped by division and reunification. Tour II covers the Köppchensee to "Entenschnabel" section, a roughly 2.5-hour journey through forests and lakeside paths where the border once ran.
Along the route, Kirschendieb & Perlensucher layered historical DDR-era photographs against contemporary views of the same locations—revealing both what has healed and what remains marked by that history. You'll pass sites of documented wall escapes, engineering installations, and the everyday geography that defined an era.
The tour departs from Am Dorfkrug Lübars and is designed for casual cyclists comfortable with moderate distances. Bring water and sun protection. Tickets cost €5. Perfect for anyone curious about Berlin's divided past and how the city has reclaimed this corridor for nature and memory.
