Foy Vance brings The Wake World Tour to Heimathafen Neukölln, celebrating the Northern Irish Singer/Songwriter's seventh album. The Wake marks the culmination of three decades of artistic exploration, rooted in a transformative moment in 1999 when Vance experienced profound spiritual transcendence on stage in Lanzarote, only to learn of his father's sudden passing that same night.

Inspired by this seismic loss, Vance embarked on an ambitious mission to craft seven albums honoring his father—a traveling preacher who shaped his early life and introduced him to the guitar. The Wake represents the final chapter of this remarkable journey, produced by the Brit Award-winning Ethan Johns (known for his work with Paul McCartney and Ray LaMontagne).

The album blends Vance's distinctive raspy voice with a powerful fusion of Folk, Soul, and Southern Blues.
