This free afternoon workshop at 343 Labs teaches independent artists how to book their own tour. It is open to all to attend, and spots are limited, so RSVP in advance.

The session is led by MOONBEAN, the Toronto-based electronic live duo of Valentina Morelli and Colin Harrington. Since 2021 they have toured Canada and Europe extensively, booking, organizing and managing every tour themselves.

In the workshop they cover:

• Approaches to booking your own tour
• The email pitch to venues
• Organizational practices for a successful tour
• Logistics for tour preparation and execution
• The tools they use to book and run tours
• The gear they tour with, and how to tour on a budget

They also talk about their philosophy around live performance, travel and music creation.
