A puppet theatre production examining conductor Karl Böhm's life, exploring the tension between his exceptional artistry and collaboration with Nazi ideology. Director Nikolaus Habjan uses 15 puppets to trace Böhm's career from his appointment to Dresden's Semperoper in 1934 through his post-war rehabilitation, asking how genius can coexist with moral compromise. Runtime: 1 hour 45 minutes, no intermission. Recommended for Grade 9 and above.
