Experimental sonic art from two accomplished improvisation musicians: Matthias Bauer on double bass and Claudia Risch on bass clarinet and flute. This 25-minute performance explores the intersection of acoustic improvisation and sonic art, where the physicality of acoustic instruments meets abstract sound exploration.

Bauer and Risch work within contemporary classical and experimental music circles, known for creating immersive soundscapes through extended instrumental techniques and careful listening. Expect intricately layered textures and an intimate dialog between two instruments, creating something beyond conventional jazz or classical improvisation — this is contemporary sonic art in its truest form.

Hosted at untergruen, a dedicated experimental arts space in Berlin that champions challenging and innovative performances across disciplines.
