Artemas brings his "Lovercore" and "Getting Up To No Good" tour to Berlin's Huxleys Neue Welt. The British alternative indie and darkwave artist has become a global phenomenon following the viral success of his breakthrough single "i like the way you kiss me," which reached number one across German-speaking countries and accumulated over 1.5 billion Spotify streams.
Since his early breakthrough with "if u think i'm pretty" in 2023, Artemas has released three albums, most recently "Getting Up To No Good," featuring intimate indie tracks like "time alone w u," "myself," and "psychokiller." His sound seamlessly blends post-punk atmospherics with modern indie sensibilities, darkwave influences, and experimental production.
Known for his distinctive breathy vocals and synthesizer-driven soundscapes, Artemas draws inspiration from 1980s new wave and post-punk aesthetics while maintaining a contemporary edge. His journey from childhood piano lessons to international stardom reflects a disciplined creative vision: starting at age 16 with self-produced demos, relocating to London in 2020, and gradually building a devoted fanbase through atmospheric indie-pop releases before achieving mainstream success.
The evening features Henry Morris and Ella Boh as support acts.
