Berlin's biggest bike day of the year — and 2026 marks the 50th edition. Tens of thousands of cyclists ride into the city along 20 routes (over 1,000 km in total) from across Berlin and Brandenburg, even taking over freed sections of the city motorway (A100/A115), before converging in the afternoon at the Großer Stern. It's a free, family-friendly demonstration for the Verkehrswende under the motto "Die Zukunft fährt Rad" ("The future rides a bike"), with two dedicated children's/family routes.

Riders join at numerous meeting points with staggered start times — check the route map for your nearest start (the central arrival at Großer Stern is in the afternoon). The day finishes at the Umweltfestival on Straße des 17. Juni. Free to join; bring water and sun/rain protection.
