Wormhole 005 brings the inaugural Berlin club edition of this compelling multiformat party concept, diving deep into psychedelia, introspection, and sonic exploration within electronic dance music.
The night features an eclectic lineup spanning trip hop, house, electro, and experimental sounds. Headlining are three distinctive voices: Emanuele Barilli, an Italian DJ and producer based between Tbilisi and Berlin known for boundary-pushing electronic work; Josefina Tapia, a Chilean electronic musician and Berlin resident whose work traverses multiple sonic territories; and Sean Gonzalez, a Wormhole Studies resident who'll deliver an extended set downstairs before switching gears with a trip hop performance upstairs.
What sets Wormhole 005 apart is its commitment to multisensory experience. The venue will be transformed with large-format abstract paintings by Bolivian artist Keiko González, creating a visual landscape that complements the sonic journey. This approach reflects the concept's philosophy: dance music as a complete artistic statement, not just background.
Arkaoda's Karl-Marx-Platz location provides the perfect intimate setting for this kind of deeply engaging electronic experience. If you caught Wormhole's successful takeover at Kwia venue in May, this Berlin iteration promises to build on that momentum with even more adventurous programming.
