Experimontag at Madame Claude brings together four distinct voices in experimental music for an evening of free improvisation, electroacoustic performance, and sonic ritual. Doors open at 7pm, with performances beginning at 8pm.
Quost x Whitehill kicks off with a collaboration between Berlin-based trumpeter Timothée Quost and guitarist Benjamin Whitehill. Through the artful use of intensified electronics and preparations, they push their instruments into surprising realms of abstract sound. Expect a dynamic interplay of idiosyncratic voices as they dialogue through noise and free improvisation.
Dexer Glut, the electroacoustic project of composer Sierra Klingele and artist Page Swanson, creates immersive sonic textures that shimmer and shift. Their work folds space and sound together, blending microphonic feedback, voice, and composition into hypnotic contemporary soundscapes.
Yair Benyamini brings music from his various projects spanning neofolk, hypnagogic pop, and acid industrial. The Gnostic Yisræli musician presents a sprawling palette of electronic and acoustic experimentation.
DJ Lichene closes the night with a drone, ambient, and ritualist DJ set, providing a meditative counterpoint to the earlier performances.
Entry is by donation. This is Madame Claude at its best—a space for experimental music that challenges and transforms.
