Punkfilmfest Booking Berlin presents a Friday night of punk at Schokoladen. Doors open at 19:00 and the bands start at 20:00.

Lineup

PARKPUNK (deutschpunk, Regensburg) play German-language punk that sounds classic and contemporary at the same time. Their lyrics are double-edged and their punk rock is clever, holding a mirror up to society and to the scene itself while keeping the crowd in a good mood. They don't reinvent the genre and don't follow any particular model. They skip guitar solos and stage banter, and they are happy to show their colours, especially against Nazis. Their texts have grown more political with age, but the drinking songs and odd personal anecdotes are still part of the set.

FCKSCHNTZL (punk rock, Berlin) are a Berlin punk band whose songs cover Will Ferrell, croissants stolen from the office kitchen and Cola Zero.

Late Night

From 22:00 the Kreuzgut.Disko takes over with DJs playing indie, shoegaze and post-punk, so the night continues after the live sets.

Practical Details

The event takes place at Schokoladen, Ackerstraße 169 in Berlin-Mitte. Entry is for ages 16 and over. Tickets are sold through tickettoaster, and the page lists a standard ticket, a support ticket and a social ticket.
