Saxophonist Phillip Dornbusch brings his Berlin-Brooklyn connection to Kunstfabrik Schlot for an intimate quartet performance. Dornbusch, rooted in Berlin's jazz scene yet based in New York, bridges the creative energy of both cities through original compositions developed over the past year. This evening features Mark Pringle on piano, Daniel Nagel on bass, and Quinton Cain on drums — a carefully chosen ensemble that balances Dornbusch's compositional voice with the collective improvisational spirit that defines contemporary jazz at its best. Kunstfabrik Schlot remains a vital space for experimental and boundary-pushing music in Berlin, and this quartet performance exemplifies the venue's commitment to forward-thinking jazz and live performance. Doors open at 20:00.
