Join an afternoon workshop exploring the magic of frame-by-frame animation in solidarity with Palestine. Hosted by Spore Initiative in cooperation with Palinale festival, this engaging 2-hour workshop invites participants into the world of animation storytelling while creating a collective film.

Local animation filmmaker Daniel will guide you through the basics of stop-motion photography, the illusion of motion, and special effects. In the second hour, each participant will create a short animation that becomes part of a larger collective film with the theme "Wishing for Palestine."

The final collective work will be screened at the evening Palinale X Palestine is Still Animated screening at 19:30 at Spore, and published on Palinale's social media channels.

Two sessions are available: 12:30-14:30 and 15:00-17:00. No previous animation experience necessary, though participants must have access to a smartphone or tablet with a working camera. All other supplies provided.

Open to ages 12 and up. Participants aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or older. This event is a fundraiser, with all donations supporting animation projects in Gaza.
