Catherine Sikora's tenor saxophone voice carries melodious movement and a rich palette of tones shaped by her Irish jazz roots. Eric Mingus has stepped confidently into his own as a blues and jazz vocalist, bringing strong presence and depth to every performance — the youngest son of Charles Mingus, he charts his own artistic path with conviction and expressive power.

Together, Sikora and Mingus craft improvised dialogues that swing between intimacy and ecstasy. They're joined by pianist Isabel Anders, whose somnambulistic improvisations feel like careful explorations into unmapped emotional terrain, and drummer Lázara Rosell Albear, who creates dense textures and luminous trills on pocket trumpet alongside precise, economical percussion work. Anders and Albear have developed an immediate understanding, their interplay both pointillist and tightly woven.
