EB Davis & the Superband - one of the most pioneering blues musicians active in Germany! The official "Blues Ambassador of the State of Arkansas" has shaped the history of blues music in Germany like no other. Authentic blues music of the highest quality.

Born in the Arkansas Delta, grew up in the bubbling blues metropolis of Memphis, and headed to New York in the 1960s where he founded the "Soulgroovers". They shared the stage with stars like Wilson Pickett, Isaac Hayes, Millie Jackson, and B.B. King.

As a member of The Drifters, he came to Europe in the early 80s. Stationed as a soldier in West Berlin, he was one of the few artists to play on East German stages, even before Soviet soldiers, making an important contribution to understanding between parties on both sides of the Iron Curtain. He toured as frontman of the "Bayou Blues Band", sometimes as support act for Ray Charles, until founding his internationally first-class "Superband" in Berlin in the 90s.
