Eagles of Death Metal are an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, founded in 1998 by best friends Jesse Hughes and Joshua Homme. They're coming to Berlin as part of their "Celebrating 20 Years of Death by Sexy..." European tour in November 2026.

Despite their provocative name, Eagles of Death Metal is not a death metal band—the name is intentionally tongue-in-cheek. Their sound blends bluegrass slide guitar with stripper drum beats and Canned Heat-style vocals, creating a distinctive and energetic rock experience.

The current tour lineup features legendary frontman Jesse Hughes, known for his theatrical stage presence and engaging interaction with the audience. The band also includes Leah Bluestein on drums, Scott Shiflett on guitar, and Dustin Douglas on bass. Their live shows are high-energy experiences that celebrate the band's signature blend of rock 'n' roll swagger and raw musicianship.
