Day two of Desertfest Berlin 2026 brings one of the most crowd-pleasing headliners the festival has seen in recent years. Red Fang — Portland's beloved noise-rock heavyweights — return to Berlin to remind everyone why they've been one of the most reliably excellent live bands in heavy music for over a decade.

Supporting them: King Buffalo, the Rochester three-piece whose slow-building, psychedelic epics are tailor-made for festival settings, and Acid King, the California doom legends making a rare European appearance. Fomies bring fresh energy to the bill, while Mother's Cake deliver the kind of genre-fluid heaviness that has made them a festival favourite, and Dope Purple close out the supporting acts with more hard-hitting material.

The day is set up for a crowd that ranges from long-time Desertfest regulars to newcomers discovering heavy music through the festival's reputation for curation over spectacle. Wild afterparties, trippy art and merch stalls, and local food vendors round out the experience.
