This hands-on workshop helps you develop and practise a short, clear and compelling spoken pitch for your project. Many of us freeze when we get the chance to explain our idea to people at a busy event, and this session is designed to make that moment easier. Expert Fatima Athena Çalışkan, an artist and presenter, shows techniques and tools for structuring ideas, condensing thoughts and training body language.

The workshop combines short inputs, individual reflection, practical exercises, small-group work and live feedback. It works with the content and delivery of your spoken pitch, whether that is an elevator pitch, a short presentation or a conversation with partners. It suits ideas that are still developing and people who want to find the core of their idea and feel more confident presenting it. Places are limited, so registration in advance is required. The workshop is held in English, on site at Podewil.
