A contemporary ensemble delivers a fresh interpretation of the legendary 1987 duet album by Carmen McRae and Betty Carter. The ensemble features musicians from across Europe, many from the prestigious Bundesjazzorchester, bringing "sensitive ensemble playing, excellent storytelling, and freedom of improvisation" while honoring the original compositions and adding new arrangements.
