Every Tuesday, piano master Uri Gincel brings together the city's finest jazz musicians for an electrifying jam session at Zig Zag Jazz Club. With Paul Kleber on bass and Tobias Backhaus on drums anchoring the ensemble, rotating guest musicians add fresh voices to an evening of spontaneous, high-level improvisation.
The program draws from the Great American Songbook and contemporary jazz classics—Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock—all reimagined in real time. Musicians respond to one another, build ideas collectively, and push each other to new creative heights. This is jazz as pure conversation: alive, unpredictable, deeply human.
An opener band kicks off the evening with a short set before the main jam session begins. The intimate club atmosphere brings together touring musicians, longtime friends, and jazz enthusiasts from around the world. Expect exceptional cocktails, genuine camaraderie, and the kind of musical spontaneity that makes live jazz unforgettable.
