Every Tuesday at Zig Zag, the stage comes alive with spontaneity and virtuosity—the weekly Jazzed Up Jam Session hosted by piano master Uri Gincel. This is where Berlin's finest jazz musicians gather to collaborate, communicate, and create in real time.
The core ensemble features Gincel on piano, Paul Kleber on bass, and Tobias Backhaus on drums, along with changing guest performers who bring their own voices into the mix. The program spans the Great American Songbook standards alongside modern jazz classics, all improvised and reimagined with each performance.
What makes the Jam Session special is the creative chemistry on stage—musicians responding to one another, exploring possibilities, taking risks. Every Tuesday brings a fresh set of ideas and interpretations. It's jazz as it was meant to be experienced: alive, unpredictable, and deeply human.
Tickets include drinks:
- Early entry (20:00 start): €20 + 2 drinks
- Late entry (22:00+): €10 + 1 drink (subject to availability)
