The Castle is a theatrical adaptation by Georgia Bruce based on Franz Kafka's novel, exploring themes of bureaucracy, alienation, and the search for meaning. When surveyor K. arrives at a castle village seeking residence, he becomes trapped in absurd bureaucratic systems that determine who belongs and whose existence is deemed a disturbance. This production combines Kafka's narrative with Albert Camus' reflections on acceptance and resilience in the face of impossible circumstances, told through the perspective of a trans man navigating societal barriers.
