Shannon Callahan is a San Francisco-based vocalist with deep roots in the city's gospel music tradition, having grown up around the choirs of Haight-Ashbury. Her musical journey traces from classical training and operatic performance through to her current work as a singer-songwriter spanning vocal jazz, Latin, and funk idioms.
For this b-flat performance, Callahan brings an exceptional band: Jürgen Heckel on guitar, Frank Nicolovius on keyboards, Max Hughes on bass, and Javier Rayes on drums. The group's broad stylistic range reflects Callahan's eclectic musical background, with sophisticated arrangements that blend tradition and contemporary sensibilities.
Doors open 20:00, concert begins 21:00. Advance tickets €25 / €20 reduced.
