Three experimental musicians converge for a night of uncompromising improvisation: Han-earl Park (guitar), Max Arsava (tapes and electronics), and James Paul Nadien (drums). Park's avant-garde guitar work oscillates hypnotically between no-wave aggression and interstellar virtuosity. Arsava brings textural electronics and tape manipulation, creating sonic landscapes that shift and morph. Nadien's complex, multi-stylistic drumming weaves through it all—connecting the dots between free jazz, post-rock, and experimental sound.
Together they create something beautifully chaotic and joyfully difficult, where each musician listens deeply and responds moment-by-moment. This is improvised music at its most ambitious: three voices in dialogue, with nowhere to hide and nothing predetermined. If you've ever wondered what happens when three virtuosos abandon their scripts and trust each other completely, this is your answer.
Part of exploratorium berlin's Bühne series, where experimental and avant-garde performances take centre stage.
