OKUJOU BEAT is back at Klunkerkranich's intimate *Wohnzimmer for a sonic journey unlike anything else. Multi-instrumentalist Izumi Yamamoto's project creates freely improvised music that moves fearlessly across genres—Trip-Hop, Dub, Electronica, Krautrock, and World Music collapse into a singular vision that transcends easy categorization.
Last time they were here, they blew minds. This time promises more of that restless creativity: OKUJOU BEAT performing live, joined by DJ ONIGIRI and STEREOCITI, with no clouds adding texture to the mix. It's the kind of event where strangers become collaborators in the listening experience—Klunkerkranich's rooftop garden in July, music that doesn't sit still, people who showed up because they trust the space.
The evening stretches from 4 PM to 1 AM, giving you room to arrive whenever the call hits—early to catch the full arc, or late to join the crowd when the night deepens.
Pricing is playful here: €5–9 depending on arrival time, Klunkerkranich's way of rewarding early birds and honoring the sliding economy of Berlin's music scene.
