Young Euro Classics on the Roof

Klunkerkranich's program spans everywhere—from jazz to techno to, this week, classical music. The Young Euro Classics Festival brings international youth orchestras to Berlin, and we're thrilled to welcome back three ensembles this August.

The evening kicks off with Germany's Bundesjugendorchester and the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America performing a curated chamber program in the Wohnzimmer. Expect works by Tchaikovsky, Bernstein, Wirén, and Dvořák—major orchestras at their most intimate.

The concert starts around 19:00, with Ilo Pan spinning carefully chosen vinyl before and after, creating a perfect transition between classical and the rooftop's usual sonic adventures. This is classical music on its own terms: not stuffy, not reverent, just beautiful young musicians sharing repertoire they love in a space that lets them breathe.

Doors open 17:00. The entrance fee (3–7€) is on a sliding scale relative to arrival time and the cultural program—a pay-what-you-wish approach for access to an evening of real artistry.
