Lucía Martínez, one of Europe's most influential avant-garde voices, brings her distinctive fusion of free improvisation, composition, and mathematical precision to Kunstfabrik Schlot. This evening features two exceptional ensembles exploring progressive jazz and experimental sound.

The first set presents the Dúo Agustí Fernández – Lucía Martínez, an intuitive musical dialogue between the Berlin-based percussionist and the renowned Spanish piano virtuoso. Their collaboration, built on raw energy balanced with poetic subtlety, showcases their album Ritual—a meeting of two visionary artists at the peak of their powers.

The second half features Dead Leaf Butterfly, a dynamic quartet blending modern creative jazz with European avant-garde traditions. With trumpet, vibraphone, bass, and drums, the ensemble creates a living, mature music that reinvents itself spontaneously each night.
