Join the opening reception of "Islands of Time," a collaborative exhibition between silent green and the Miller-Zillmer Foundation featuring the work of Italian photographer and artist Niccolò Masini. This compelling project explores the intricate relationship between immaterial feelings of belonging and the construction of geographic identity.
Drawing from research across Western Sahara, the Italy-France border region, Argentina, and the Aeolian Archipelago, Masini's work weaves together memory, movement, and the complex ways we construct our sense of place. The exhibition employs diverse artistic mediums to investigate how landscape and identity intertwine—a meditation on belonging that transcends geographical boundaries.
The opening reception runs from 6 PM to 10 PM, offering an intimate opportunity to meet the artist and engage with the work in conversation. The full exhibition remains open daily through August 16, with viewing hours from 2 PM to 8 PM. Free admission.
