The B-flat All-Stars feature two accomplished jazz musicians: Līva Strazdiņa on trumpet and flugelhorn, whose deeply rooted jazz sound carries "a very special timbre" and a touch of Latvian soul, and Simona Turk on saxophone, delivering "a powerful, versatile sound full of expression and surprises."

The ensemble includes Arseny Rykov on grand piano, Hendrik Nehls on double bass, and Kai Schönburg on drums. A major highlight of the evening features world premieres of works by Hendrik Nehls: new compositions entirely in the spirit of the jazz-swing idiom, exploring diverse themes with humor and musical creativity.
