🎷 Grammy-Nominated Saxophonist with International Supergroup
Grammy-nominated saxophonist Melissa Aldana from Chile became the first female instrumentalist and first South American musician to win the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition (2013). In 2022, she released her album "12 Stars," her debut on the legendary Blue Note label.
She is joined by German piano virtuoso Pablo Held (Pablo Held Trio, multiple awards), Chilean bassist Pablo Menares (NYC-based, worked with Camila Meza, Greg Osby), and American drummer Kush Abadey (youngest member of Wallace Roney Quintet at age 16).
