The sixth SCHLOT SESSION of the year brings together four remarkable musicians for an intimate evening of improvised jazz. Agnes Hansson (trumpet), Bruno Bode (saxophone), Jan Zeimetz (drums), and Johann Greve (bass) open with their collaborative set, inviting you into a dynamic musical conversation where precision meets spontaneity.
What makes Schlot Sessions special is the spirit of genuine exchange. You're not just witnessing a performance — you're stepping into an experience built on collaboration and mutual creativity. After the opening set, musicians and audience alike continue playing together, hanging out, and building on the musical energy of the evening.
Kunstfabrik Schlot operates without external funding, surviving entirely on entrance fees that directly support musician compensation. Every euro you contribute goes toward ensuring these talented improvisers can dedicate their time and artistry to this community. It's an intimate funding model that embodies the DIY ethos of Berlin's underground music scene.
Doors open at 19:30, the session begins at 20:30. Come early to settle in, grab a drink, and soak in the atmosphere of this legendary creative space in Edison Höfen.
