Life Drawing for Idiots is a laid-back weekly drawing session at Sfera, a plant-based café and community space in Neukölln. Every Monday evening, artists and beginners gather to sketch live models in a supportive, judgment-free environment — no experience necessary, hence the cheeky name.
The session runs from 7pm to 9pm, with the café bar opening from 6pm for drinks and snacks. Entry is just €9 in cash, making it an accessible way to practice observational drawing, loosen up, and connect with Berlin's art community. The event is organized by Pascal, Guy, and Sofia, who've created a welcoming atmosphere where curiosity matters more than skill.
Sfera itself is worth the trip — a bright, plant-filled space that doubles as a café, gallery, and community hub. Whether you're a frustrated artist, a curious sketcher, or just looking for something to do on a Monday evening, Life Drawing for Idiots offers a chance to create, socialize, and maybe discover you're not as much of an idiot as you thought.
