Fuente Pública is an instrumental ensemble blending Mediterranean and Latin American musical traditions. The six-piece band features guitar, mandolin, Cuban tres, violin, saxophone, percussion, and bass, creating a distinctive fusion of Bossa Nova, Son Cubano, Klezmer, and contemporary composition. After a period of lineup changes, the group returns with a program that weaves together folk, jazz, and classical elements with traditional sounds. Most pieces are original compositions by band members Hans Lassen and Arndt Sprenger, alongside arrangements of traditional repertoire (including the classic "Misirlou") and works by composers like Astor Piazzolla, performed with improvisational freedom and cultural nuance.
Reserved tickets must be picked up at least 30 minutes before the performance begins.
