An inclusive architectural tour exploring the iconic New National Gallery (Neue Nationalgalerie) building by Mies van der Rohe. The tour begins with a tactile model that allows visitors with and without visual impairments to feel the building's essential features: the flowing transition from exterior to interior through the glass facade, and the blend of simplicity, clarity, and high-quality materials.
Starting from the tactile model, participants explore the museum hall and, depending on the season, the sculpture garden through touch and heightened perception. The tour is designed for people with and without visual impairments and aims to make the architecture—its materials, proportions, and design principles—tangibly understandable. Conducted in simple language with tactile guidance.
Fee: 6 euros (in addition to museum admission). Advance registration recommended; limited group size.
