🎨 One of Germany's Most Important Private Collections
For the first time, the Scharf Collection is being presented on a large scale at the Alte Nationalgalerie. The collection primarily comprises French art from the 19th and 20th centuries as well as contemporary international art.
🖼️ Around 150 Works
Outstanding works by Auguste Renoir, Pierre Bonnard, Edgar Degas, and Claude Monet. A special highlight is a selection of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's complete print oeuvre preserved in the collection.
📜 Journey Through Art History
From Goya and French Realism, through French Impressionists and Cubists, to contemporary art including works by Sam Francis, Sean Scully, Daniel Richter, and Katharina Grosse.
